The Law Society and Sharkgate have published this report on the avoidance of 'hacking' of websites.  It describes the types of attach and provides some guidance on preventing it.

It describes a situation of many those have have been affected realising the impact only after the event (closing the gate after the horse has bolted).

GCHQ's NCSC and The Law Society have published their 2018 report on the cyber threat to the legal sector. 

The report highlights the attractiveness of the UK legal sector to cyber attackers and pinpoints some of the most significant points of entry for breaches.

It has been our pleasure to deliver  presentations on GDPR to  several legal sector audiences.  

These sessions  covered the outline implications for GDPR for law firms in particular, and with reference to Lexcel (where appropriate).

In this case it was a review of the GDPR versus v6.0 of the Lexcel standard.
