Eleanor O'Reilly is Head of Accreditations at the Law Society and a recognised specialist in accreditations and professional standards.

With more than 18 years' experience in the legal sector, including previous practice as a foreign qualified lawyer, she works with firms, assessors and government stakeholders to support high standards in the legal sector and professional competence.

Eleanor plays a leading role in the delivery and development of accreditation schemes including Lexcel and the Conveyancing Quality Scheme (CQS), supports onsite assessments, and regularly speaks on compliance, quality assurance, risk management and professional standards.

Her focus is helping firms translate accreditation requirements into practical, effective ways of working.
